ACSM Certified Personal Trainer
B.S. Nutrition

Upon the completion of my B.S. in Nutrition at Ohio State, I obtained my Certification in Personal Training through ACSM. My goal as a personal trainer is help you create a body that’s capable of lifelong health. I believe that our bodies are machines created with remarkable capabilities to move with power and grace. If we want happy, healthy bodies, we must fulfill their purpose of movement; we must be active every day! To do this one’s training must be meaningful and enjoyable, and therefore sustainable. I always make creative yet challenging programs to stay motivated while working toward the finish line at the end of each workout. Crushing a workout improves the body’s performance, physique and mental attitude to prepare itself for the rest of the day and life.

B.S. Exercise Science
B.S. Nutrition/Dietetics

I started my fitness journey at 16 years old clocking in at a hefty 260 pounds. I had lived off of fast and frozen processed foods most of my life. I didn’t participate consistently in any activities related to a healthy lifestyle. I have always been a Boxing / MMA / Sports fan. Shortly after I turned 16 I started training at a Boxing/MMA gym. I weighed in at 164.4 Lbs. for my first jiu-jitsu tournament having lost about 100 pounds. I didn’t win the tournament, but getting to the point of competing had changed my life, and I decided I wanted to help others do the same by getting them to take steps to become healthier, stronger, and more confident. I began a long process of going to school in 2010. I transferred and completed a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, and Dietetics/Nutrition at Central Washington University. I completed my internship and practicum with Jeff P. Wood at Empowered Fitness Training in Ellensburg and have started working at his location. I am currently studying for my NSCA CSCS certification and training for my third amateur Muay Thai / Kickboxing fight.
